Charlie Feliciano - 2005

After a solid junior year where Charlie placed 2nd in the class “L” state championships, expectations were high. Charlie posted a 32-4 record, placed first at Farmington and garnered his third straight CCC South All Conference selection. However, it was Charlie’s respect, character, and grace that earned him the 2005 ABMA award. Charlie suffered a season ending concussion in the semi finals of the class “L” state tournament and placed sixth. Despite the setback Charlie did not become angry or spiteful, instead he cheered on his teammates. Charlie would eventually describe the incident as “trying to catch a unicorn”, referring to the title that eluded him. Charlie graduates with a 104-35 record and now holds the school record for team point posted in a season (151).
