Luis Murillo Jr. - 2002

Luis is probably the most heralded wrestler to come out of Platt High School. Luis posted a 3.87 gpa and was a member of the National Honor Society. On the mat Luis was a 4-time Academic All State wrestler, Academic All American, 3-time Class “M” champion, New England Medalist (3rd), ranked 9th in the nation, and a State Open Champion. Luis was heavily recruited by D-1 colleges, however made an adult decision to attend Trinity College for academics. He placed 6th in New England as a freshman and is also undecided as a major.
